I really should learn that I should read less if I want to sleep late on Saturday mornings. Last week it was the postman with the book Gerri organised for me. Today, the same postman was back with an order from Amazon, a book that I pre-ordered months ago and which has just had its UK publication. It’s The Big Dig by Linda Barnes, and I’m delighted to have it because it completes my set of her Carlotta Carlyle novels.
Yay for that. I like books. But I like sleep too, and I find that rather harder to come by than I do new books.
